Background & Experience
Obtaining her initial real estate license in Florida in 1989, Kimberly moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 where she began her Nevada real estate career at Performance Marketing Associates, a new home sales and marketing company. Kimberly then transitioned into commercial real estate as an industrial specialist, moving to Colliers International in 1999, to Grubb & Ellis in 2003 and to NAI Global in 2008. While with NAI, Kimberly relocated to Elko, Nevada in 2011 and opened the first dedicated commercial real estate office in Elko County. The success of the Elko office was immediate, but soon Kimberly realized her client’s needs were much more varied than her commercial platform, so Kimberly expanded her services to meet the growing market demand, and created KLO Realty, a vertically integrated real estate company which offers a full spectrum of real estate services.
Visionary and strategic, Kimberly understands and respects the complexities and nuances of both commercial and residential real estate as well as the development industry. She is uniquely qualified with two fold experience in both development projects and real estate brokerage. Her leadership approach embraces change and nurtures a culture of innovation, creativity and excellence. Rigorous past experience includes real estate marketing and brokerage, project development and management, where she honed her negotiating, communication and management skills. Her past experience as a development manager at Panattoni Development brings skill in building design, entitlements, and site feasibility, due diligence and project management and her tenure at Performance Marketing sharpened skills in marketing, sales training and public relations. Kimberly’s commitment to achievement and her proven track record continue to deliver projects on time and within budget. Kimberly has the expertise to handle all aspects of your project, from land acquisition, site design and entitlements to project financing, sales and marketing - all handled by one entity with a single point of contact.
In harmony with her real estate career, Kimberly’s passion for the prosperity of Elko County is fueled by her civic service. Kimberly is currently serving as the 2014-2015 President for the Rotary Club of Elko Desert Sunrise, and she is Past President, currently Vice President of the board for the Family Resource Center. She continues to be active with other community organizations including the Elko Chamber of Commerce, the Elko Downtown Business Association and Northeastern Nevada Regional Development Authority.
